Grain Marketing Board – Culture Re-orientation and Change Management

The Grain Marketing Board, in 2018, embarked on a massive culture change process that involved culture audit, gap assessment, and re-orientation that saw the GGF AFRICA consultants engage in robust conversation with at 680 employees across 84 depots located in 10 provinces nationwide. 

The process yielded a new set of culture affirmations and a fresh commitment to pursue a value-system that would over the next few years see the transformation of GMB’s image, operations, and service quality. Farmers, who are key stakeholders, express delight at the ongoing improvements in service delivery, packaged behind fresh brand imagery.

Years later, Team GGF AFRICA continues to observe from the distance, an enduring commitment by Team-GMB to uphold its new culture of performance and service quality – reassuring stakeholders of national food security.
