We have enjoyed watching the systematic roll-out of the JSC strategic plan since the establishment of the unified judicial service in 2011. GGF AFRICA has been fortunate to serve as the strategic planning consultant for the Judicial Service Commission for the 3 consecutive 5-year plans (2012-2016; 2016-2020; and 2021-2025), during which planning horizon the Commission has methodically implemented, monitored & evaluated its key programs.

 The success story of JSC’s institutional development journey has a lot to do with its commitment to strategic planning – and the deeply embedded performance culture that has yielded an efficient court system, driven by an integrated electronic case management system, good quality court stations & infrastructure (including at least 30 new or upgraded court stations built with the support of partners), and thought leadership in the development of regional jurisprudence. 

We are proud to have contributed in a small way towards the development of institutional capacity through robust strategy.
