Baseline & Endline
If you need to measure the impact of an intervention, we can help you. GGF AFRICA experts can design and conduct surveys that provide a reference point (baseline survey) and a comparison point (endline survey) for your intervention results. We can also help you monitor and evaluate your activity’s performance and effectiveness during and after the implementation. GGF Africa has a proven record of delivering high-quality baseline & endline surveys.
Baseline & Endline
Surveys provide a critical source of data and insights for everyone engaged in the information economy, from businesses to media, to government and academics.Baseline and endline surveys are an essential part of the monitoring and evaluation process as they, together, provide the data that is needed to assess the impact of interventions and to make informed decisions about future interventions.
Data collected during a Baseline survey can be used to assess the need for the intervention while setting the benchmark(s) for measuring the impact of the intervention and identifying the key indicators that will be used to track the progress of the intervention. In contrast, data collected through an endline survey can be used to determine whether the intervention was successful, identify unintended consequences of the intervention and to make recommendations for future interventions.
The benefits of conducting baseline and endline surveys are that:
- They provide data that can be used to assess the impact of interventions.
- They can help to identify any unintended consequences of interventions.
- They can help to make informed decisions about future interventions.
Overall, baseline and endline surveys are an important part of the monitoring and evaluation process. They provide the data that is needed to assess the impact of interventions and to make informed decisions about future interventions.
